Talent Recruitment Campaign Kicks-Off
(Rock County, WI) Rock County 5.0 kicked-off the first part of a multifaceted talent recruitment campaign, by releasing its Consider Rock County publication. Developed as a tool to enhance and/or supplement the information that employment recruiters, human resource staff, realtors and others utilize, this publication provides a comprehensive snapshot of the area’s quality of life offerings – particularly those items that weigh heavily into the decision making processes of individuals and families alike. The Consider Rock County publication, which is available in electronic or hard copy formats, will be distributed through traditional and social media channels.
As the anchor of an evolving talent recruitment campaign, this Consider publication presents a value proposition for prospective employees by highlighting the following topical areas: community, housing, education, careers and healthcare. Key themes regarding the County’s affordability, as it relates to cost of living comparisons; its convenient, central location; its expanding educational and healthcare offerings; and the variety of (in-demand) careers available from an array of privately held and publicly traded firms within the region, are woven throughout the Consider Rock County publication.
Feedback gleaned from Rock County 5.0’s Business Retention & Expansion program, which includes survey data from approximately 175 area companies, as well as several focus group meetings, served as the catalyst for this campaign. Previously launched initiatives, such as the Inspire Rock County program, as well as other emerging workforce solutions, represent components of Rock County 5.0’s overall Workforce Profiling strategy area.
Rock County 5.0 is a public / private economic development initiative designed to reposition and revitalize Rock County’s economy.
